Franklin Square Shopping Center

Franklin Square Shopping Center is a 563,588 square foot community retail center located in Gastonia, North Carolina. Phase I has 321,104 total square feet. It includes 218,630 square feet of space that was leased at the time of sale to nine national retailers, including Best Buy, Michael’s and Office Max. Wal-Mart had a land lease in Phase I. There are 34 smaller tenant spaces in the remaining 102,474 square feet. Phase II consists of 242,484 square feet of space on 31.35 acres of land that was leased to Sam’s Club and K-Mart.

AAC developed Franklin III, a 272,241 square foot expansion of the Franklin Square power retail center. Franklin III had 192,696 square feet of space leased to national and regional tenants and was sold in 1999.
